Jose Miguel Gonzales "Josemi" Rey (born 15 November 1979 in Torremolinos, Spain) is a Spanish football player. He currently plays for Liverpool FC, predominantly as a right back, but he can play as a centre back as well.

Josemi started his career at the Spanish club Málaga, before becoming Rafael Benitez's first signing as Liverpool manager for £2 million in the summer of 2004.

He has played 14 first-team games in all competitions for Liverpool so far this season.

Whilst he has been exposed for a lack of pace, Josemi has also been praised for his determination and "no-nonsense" style of defending and tackling.
