Finders Keepers (US version)

Finders Keepers was a CITV show broadcast from 1991-1998, then brought back in 2006. It was based on the original American Finders Keepers and was hosted by Neil Buchanan for most of the series run.

Format

Two teams of two had to trash eight rooms to find hidden objects to gain points. Then they have to find tools in a pit of tar or find pictures to a question to win more rooms to raid.

Rooms

Top floor

  • Mom and Dads bedroom
  • Bathroom
  • Kids bedroom
  • Fantasy room, mystery room

Bottom

  • Store room, utility room, garden room
  • Kitchen
  • Living room
  • Study

Jeremy's joker

In the Buchanan series some rooms had Jamies joker on them. If the team found the object they would win a holiday.

The winning team got to do the super search. They had to raid all 8 rooms in 4 minutes (3 minutes in the Brazier versions) to get a super prize. The more rooms raided the more better the prize.

2006 Comeback

On January 6, 2006 Finders Keepers made a come back and was presented by Jeff Brazier. The house had been more modernised and had even crazier rooms.

Trivia

  • The rooms would rain silly string and streamers to distract the contestants
  • For the tv audience only while the team were searching,a blue arrow apreared pointing to where the object is.
