Allen W. Jeardeau was the head football coach at Louisiana State University from 1896 to 1897. In 1896, his first season with the Tigers, he led the team to a 6-0-0 record and a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association conference championship. He finished his coaching career with an overall record of 7-1-0. Jeardeau was a graduate of Harvard University.
