Aside from the Jewish populations around the world (of course it's evocative, but there's no way to cite that) there are a lot of legitimate citations for the significance of the number to some Jews: Yad Vashem on the six beacons lit every year on Holocaust Remembrance Day, a news story on Greta Duisenberg's six million signatures against the occupation, the lyrics of a rap song by Hadag Nachash etc. etc. Why can't these be incorporated into a legitimate article on Jewish and Israeli culture?
