The gatekeepers hut which adjoins the request stop at The Level seen after the addition of the platform in 2002.

The Level is a request stop on the Isle of Man Railway near Colby, between Port St Mary and the main Colby station. it consists of a crossing keepers hut, now unmanned since the introduction of automatic barriers in 2002 and a small section of raised platform which was installed at the request of a regular traveller on the line. Today the nameboard declares the halt as "The Level" but in the past it has been variously attributed as "Colby Level", "Level" and any connotation of these names. Ironcially, a metal nameboard installed in the 1970s is still in place and declares the title as "Colby Level" but the timetable shows the other title to be correct.
