Appletiser is a sparkling soft drink, manufactured and distributed by Coca-Cola.

History

Appletiser is made in South Africa, in the western cape town of Elgin. It has been made since 1966, since it was first created by farmer, Edmond Lombari. It is a worldwide brand and has been exported to the United Kingdom, USA, Asia and other African countries.

In the United Kingdom, Appletiser and Peartiser sponsor the TV show Friends on the digital channel E4.

Ingredients

The sparkling taste sensation known as Appletiser is made from 100% pure apple juice and contains no added sugar, preservatives or colourants. It is pure, guilt-free indulgence - crisp, thirst quenching and revitalising. With its clear, golden champagne-like appearance, it is the perfect, healthy alternative to alcohol for socially-active adults, in particular modern woman.

Shelf life: Appletiser is pasteurised and has a shelf life of 12 months.

Offshoots of Appletiser

The manufacturer also now produces 'Red Grapetiser', 'White Grapetiser' and 'Peartiser'. The range of Appletiser products currently includes a 750 ml bottle, 275 ml bottle and a 340 ml can, as well as multipacks of small bottles and cans.
