T.O.P, which stands for Twinkling Of Paradise, was Shinhwa's second album. It garnered much success with T.O.P climbing the charts quickly, follow by Shinwha's second single, Yo!. Shinhwa's second album made a greater impact than their first one as it as it coincided with the breakup of H.O.T.[1] Although they promoted their first album well, Shinhwa did not do much promotions for their second album and instead, went on working with their third album.

Maturing

In T.O.P, the members of Shinhwa began maturing their style of music. Their songs took on a more pop like version. Their music video for T.O.P shows Shinhwa in white suits with a bright fantasy-like as the back-drop. Yo! was a different music video, with Lee Minwoo, a vocalist, as the a trouble-maker boy who falls in love with a girl, play by Kim Bomi. At this time, the group took on a more mature image, in contrast to their previously boyish look. With their second album a success, Shinhwa won their first award ever, M.net '98 Best Music Video from new pop male group award.
