All the StatusBots have been taken down. They make too many edits. There are manual ways to keep track of your status such as: WP:QUI User:Xenocidic/statusChanger2.js User:Hersfold/StatusTemplate

Question

Is there a way that we could change the length of time per user? For me, an hour without an edit is more likely because I do a lot of reading and I have been on Meta more recently. Maybe it could work like MiszaBot and have a template like this:

|online       = [what the ParserFunction name is for online status]
|offline      = [what the ParserFunction name is for offline status]
|on-edits     = [number of edits to set online status]
|off-time     = [how long without an edit to set offline status]
<!-- Other statuses -->

So I would type on my status page (User:Greeves/Status): {{User:Greeves/StatusTemplate|in}}{{User:StatusBot/config|online = in |offline = out |on-edits = 1 |off-time = 60 min |other-name = around |other-time = 30 min}}

Problem

There is probably a default, like 5 edits in the past half hour, or something. Anything below that will not change your status, since if you're not making a lot of edits, you probably won't be around at your computer constantly for a period of time. --(Review Me) R ^ParlateContribs_@ (Let's Go Yankees!) 20:55, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

Another sort of problem

I just recently added myself to the catagory and added the template to my userpage and the template is telling me that I haven't been on since 22/8/2007 15:38:50, which is not true. I have made edits since then and I don't what's wrong.  Bella Swan_(Talk!) 18:33, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

I'm having a similar problem. I just added myself to the category yesterday, and StatusBot seems to think that I've been offline since earlier today, when in fact I've been on the whole time except for a few hours. GlassCobra 03:27, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

How Long to Create a Status Page?

I've been waiting for hours now for StatusBot to create my status page, yet it still has not done so. I've added my userpage to the Category:Wikipedians who use StatusBot and I even tested the status template in my user sandbox but it still isn't updating my status yet. How long does it usually take for StatusBot to create my status page (the userpage mentioned only 5 minutes)?¤~Persian Poet Gal ^(talk) 01:19, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
