License tagging for Image:Glayyuuwaku.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Glayyuuwaku.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. First, it is not my site. Second, we don't "discriminate". Third, the consensus was built for every article, including "iPod", check here: Follow standard English text formatting and capitalization rules even if the trademark owner encourages special treatment (this applies for GLAY or any uppercase name). It also reads Lowercased trademarks with internal capitals do not need to be capitalized if the second letter is capitalized which is applied to iPod, eBay and so on. Finally, I don't have an iPod, think Apple overrates and overprices downgraded hardware, and like listening to j-pop, so your assumptions are voids. No harm done. It takes time to get used to Wikipedia guidelines and style guides, and believe me, you are not the first to ask about capitalization in japanese topics, nor the last one. Just to let you know, I used to write everything in uppercase if the title or artist was written in uppercase, but with time I was "trained" in the correct capitalization. Maybe someday Wikipedia will change its guidelines to fit japanese names, but right now we must respect the current ones. -- ReyBrujo 16:13, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Commercial use of Image:Lmc.jpg

Fair use rationale for Image:Videoglay5.gif

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Videoglay5.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
