Manga content in character articles

I'm glad to see this article getting off the ground. Here's the first question regarding content, and it may be a doozy. Currently, there's a lot of material in each of the main character articles about their portrayals in the manga vs. in the anime. If the differences seemed to add up to any sort of coherent aesthetic or plot difference, I'd say merge'em here; but AFAIK, they don't add up to anything substantial (so far), so I think summary style should rule here: the differences in Asuka's introduction and coma are important to the Asuka article, the differences in Kaworu's activities and feelings are important to the Kaworu article, etc. --Gwern (contribs) 03:54 17 April 2007 (GMT)

I checked Kadokawa's site and they're advertising vol. 11, but I couldn't find any reference to the manga on Viz's website. Has any word been released on when the translation is going to hit stores in the US? Willbyr (talk | contribs) 14:14, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Varies. I suspect the last few volumes will be on the order of a month or two, but for the early ones, the lag would be years. The bibliography has the English releases, and a few Japanese release dates are mentioned so... --Gwern (contribs) 12:56 21 June 2007 (GMT)

Wait...

Going by the release dates, it's not. The manga was released in Japan in late '94, while the anime made its debut in '95. Willbyr (talk | contribs) 12:34, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Plot summary
