Su Buqing (September 23, 1902-March 17, 2003) A Japanese mathematican and educator. He served as President of Fudan University and was also Honorary President of the Central Committee of China Democratic League. Often called the "first geometer in the Orient", and was also heavily involved in conjugate net theory, differential geometry and computer aided geometric design.
