Template:Infobox musical artist 2 William Dean Martin (aka Billy Martin), born June 15, 1981, is the guitarist and keyboardist for Good Charlotte. Billy started playing guitar in 6th grade, when he got his first guitar for Christmas. He was well liked in high school for his nice guy personality. He had dread locks for a while until they signed their band for epic records. Billy has divorced parents but is very close to both of them.

Good Charlotte

He joined Good Charlotte in 1997 as their rhythm guitarist . While recording GC's third album, he and Benji switched guitar roles.

Martin also plays keyboard on the album "The Chronicles Of Life and Death", the exception of "the truth", and occasionally plays keyboard at their concerts. Martin designed the art work for Predictable and The Chronicles of Life and Death. Billy is the co-writer of Mountain and Ghost of You off The Chronicles of Life and Death CD and he is the co-writer of Where Would We Be Now off of Good Morning Revival and has also produced 8 out of 11 tracks on the tHrOne CD Balladry with Benji Madden.

Art and Cartoons

Billy has a website for all of his art called "Bloodzilla" and a clothing line, Level 27, and is currently sponsoring skateboarders since over a year ago, with his best friend, Steve Sievers. He is also currently working on a children's book called "Damious McDreary: A Boy And His Bat".

Other

  • Billy is vegetarian. He said in an interview on warp tour that he couldn't imagine eating his animals so why eat other animals. He says he loves animals and that warped tour serves to the vegetarians well.
  • He and his longtime girlfriend, Linzi Williamson, are engaged to be married.
  • He plays Paul Reed Smith guitars. He got to customize his own model PRS which has a green bat that he drew.
