John XXIII College (motto Seek Justice) is a Catholic co-educational school in Perth, Western Australia. The school provides education from kindergarten to year twelve students.

The college is the result of the merger in 1977 of the Jesuit Saint Louis boys school spread over different campuses (first opened in 1938) and Loreto Convent girls school (first opened in 1897). In 1986 the school was relocated to its present site in Mount Claremont.

Recently John XXIII High School has been at the centre of media controversy over one of their teaching staff, who was at the time also the coach of the school football team. (2007, March - June) The staff member who will remained unnamed, became obsessed with the idea of victory in the "Belt-Up" Cup High Schools Football Competition. (It has been claimed by many collegues that he was suffering from "Small-man's Syndrome.")

It has since been uncovered that in order to secure victory over Carine Senior High School's football team in a finals deciding game, the coach of the John XXIII football team offered to perform a sexual favour for the match's umpire, who accepted, (he himself being a homosexual) in return for umpiring favouritism during the match. As a result, John XXIII won the match, though only just, as Carine were clearly the superior team. (The incident of oral sex was captured on the school's CCTV cameras situated in the gymnasium) The players from Carine, clearly angered at the obvious one-sidedness of the match, proceeded to express their thoughts, leading to a minor on-field scuffle. As the fight was being broken up, the umpire took the oppurtunity to sexually assault one of the Carine boys, under the guise of "breaking up the fight". Unfortunately for the umpire, the Carine player did not take the assault lightly, and pushed him repeatedly, though to onlookers this appeared as though the Carine boy was: "Fighting the umpire", contributing to disciplinary action against Carine SHS. The homosexual relationship between the match umpire and the John XXIII coach was made apparent when the latter expressed his obvious regard for the former by coming to his rescue, telling the Carine players to "Sit the fuck down", then proceeding to lecture them on why they lost the match, and why they should leave the umpire (his lover) alone. (He made the Carine players sit down so as to appear taller and hopefully something more than a complete joke of a man)

The Carine team went home despondent, but ended up having the last laugh as the talentless John XXIII team went on to lose their final match in a typical display of pathetic, unsportsman-like football, and the coach's corruption and sexual escapade with the umpire being revealed by a concerned collegue/whistle-blower.
