Bomberman LIVE, officially announced May 16, 2007, is a downloadable video game for the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade, developed by Backbone Entertainment. LIVE is an original version of the classic game Bomberman, an arcade-style maze-based video game originally developed by Hudson Soft for the MSX, NEC PC-8801, NEC PC-6001, Sharp MZ-700, the FM-7 in Japan, and the ZX Spectrum in Europe. The game is scheduled to be released in North America on June 20, 2007[1], and Japan during Summer 2007.This game is NOT available in Europe. The game will cost 800 File:Microsoftpoint.gif ($10 USD).[2]
Gameplay
The object of the game is to use an arsenal of explosives to blow up bricks to reach other players and in turn destory them as well. There are a slew of power ups that will do everything from making explosions bigger, to allowing more bombs to be dropped, to allowing players to kick bombs across the stage. It is quick to learn, easy to play, which is why it is a cult hit as a party game

- Extensive personal Bomberman customization, including custom heads and/or hats, facial expressions and features, and costumes, to allow over 10,000 custom possibilities.
