Bill Tomlins

Bill Tomlins and his consortium brought Luton Town FC out of administrative receivership in May 2004. The Hatters completed his full season in charge in May 2005, achieving the championship in the Coca-Cola League One.

Recently, Bill has received a lot of criticism from Hatters fans after the sales of key players and the change of plans from a stadium at Junction 10 to the Junction 12 site, in a deal with former-chairman Cliff Bassett.

Tomlins was the chairman of LTFC until April 11 2007 when he stood down. Following his boards decision to sack manager Mike Newell, Tomlins and his fellow board members were subject to a torrent of abuse during the defeat at Kenilworth Road on March 17, 2007.
