The Horn of Africa is a peninsula in East Africa that juts into the Arabian Sea and lies along the southern side of the Gulf of Aden.

The term also refers to the greater region containing Somalia, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Eritrea. Sometimes, Sudan and Kenya are also included.

Greater Somalia is an ideology that seeks to create a unified Somali state in the Horn of Africa. 123
