Ambajogai is a town in Beed district of Maharashtra, India. At one time it was regarded as Pune of Marathwada as it had the best educational institutes in Marathwada then. Ambajogai has the Rural Medical College, which is popular in the areas. The town has linked with many prominent personalities in India's Freedom fighting and also the current politics. These include Swami Ramanand Tirth and Babasaheb Paranjape who fought against razakars (Hyderabad) to free Hyderabad state from Nizam regime. The present day political personality linked with Ambajogai are Pramod Mahajan and Gopinath Munde who were educated in Yogeshwari Education Society founded by Swami Ramanand Tirth and Babasaheb Paranjape. Also Vimal Mundada in Maharashtra ministry is native of the town.

The town is famous for the Haritage temple of goddess Yogeshwari which is visited by people all over Maharashtra especielly those in Konkan region. The town has other haritage temples like Kholeshwar, Mukundraj and Dasopant. NO statues in the whole town(public property).
