Mickey's is a type of malt liquor known for being sold in quantities of 40 oz. These green bottles are overly sized compared to normal bottles of beer and feature the signature Mickey's logo. This logo includes the name Mickey's and the infamous green/yellow hornet on the label. Under the cap of a Mickey's 40 oz. are often witty sayings such as, "Drink More Mickey's".

In Urban America, Mickey's is also widely known for being a relatively cheap way of getting a quick buzz. Nobody really drinks Mickey's to relax, or cool off after a hard day of work. The primary purpose of a 40 oz. bottle of liquor is to get extremely drunk very fast, and cost effectively. Mickey's is also widely known for being the primary instrument in a essential fraternity party game throughout collegiate America. This game is "Edward 40-hands", a play on words of the movie "Edward ScissorHands". In this game, two Mickey's bottles are duck-taped to a contestant's hands (one in each hand). The player must not take the bottles out of his hands until he finishes the malt liquor inside of them. This even includes going to the restroom. The humor of the game is entwined in the fact that the contestant's motor skills of the hand are rendered useless while the bottles are taped to the inside of the palm.
