WineTools is a popular menu driven installer for installing approximately 90 Microsoft Windows programs under the x86 (Athlon or Intel PC) processor architecture with the Linux operating system using Wine.

The application is able to deal effectively with Internet Explorer 6, Photoshop 7.0, Illustrator 9.0 and many other applications.

The current version does not work with the latest version of wine; this and other problems are corrected in an unofficial version available at http://download.formationos.net/.

Wine-Doors Project is an attempt to create an alternative to Winetools, extending the general original idea of Winetools, but with a more modern design approach.
