Once in awhile in the world of classical music there is an extrordinary personna that comes along and knocks your socks off. In the world of choral music there is Anthony Way. Anthony Way was a junior choirister at London's St. Paul's Cathedral in the mid 1990's when he was thrown into the public eye with his portrayal of Henry Ashworth, a choirboy who's voice saved a cathedral from closing its doors, in the BBC mini series called "The Monkey"

Anthony Way helped to record the soundtrack the series which sold over 2 copies. It was decided by one of the music consultants on the series that a "solo" cd may do well and follow on the heels of the soundtack, thus "The Choirboy"(1995) cd, an interesting collection of sacred and contemporary classics.Despite Anthony's gruelling schedule performing, and school and obligations to St. Paul's the cd did not make a dent in the UK classical charts. A christmas cd followed that was ironically recorded during scorching hot days in July this cd became "The Choirboy's Christmas"(1996). 1997 saw Anthony moved to his new school of Uppingham, north of London and the recording and release of "Wings of a Dove", another album of choral and sacred classics, Anthony was still in demand for performances, one might wonder how he found time, but he did, and did it professionally, he was a natural and more mature than many "seasoned veterans", in the music business."Wings of a Dove was recorded rather quickly as his Biological clock was ticking, so no time was wasted, catching what was the end of a short but stellar career as a treble from St Paul's. 1998 Decca released "The Best Of Anthony Way", things did not slow down for him either, he starred in the film version of the childrens classic "Tom's Midnight Garden".
