Autopatrolled

Reason for requesting autopatrolled rights BastianMAT (talk) 15:06, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there. Within Wikipedia I work with political articles and ITNR. My main focus is creating and expanding elections which has gotten me several ITNR nominations (see my user talk page). Overall I have created and expanded pages for several politicians, elections, and political events. I plan to keep on doing that, just as the recent election pages I have created for this year, here are some examples: Turkmenistan, Chad, Guinea Bissau coup attempt, East Timor, Angola, The Gambia, Senegal, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, Armenia, Tunisia, Colombia. In conclusion, I plan to continue my work in the recent months, being creating election articles that are set for next year and the future, any political events/snap elections set for this year and expanding them all to get them onto ITNR. All election articles being marked as reviewed from the start, makes autopatrolled beneficial and will save time, reducing the workforce of new pages patrol as these articles always pass the criteria of a page and being able to get them into the search engine directly. Cheers, and hope y’all have a great day! BastianMAT (talk) 15:06, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Not done You don’t meet the numerical minimum requirements. I for one have no problem with signing off on a request despite that but producing clean articles that don’t require maintenance is a must. I’ve only looked at your last article and you can see through my edits what needed fixing. Beyond that, I’ve created a category to turn one of the cat red links that you left behind into a blue link. Also, please note that copying within Wikipedia requires attribution. Please come back once you know how to produce clean articles. Schwede66 16:07, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • @Schwede66:, alright, well a few category mistakes seem to be pretty easy to fix. Planning on creating a few election articles in the coming days, if that gets me up to 25 and all articles are perfectly clean, could a new request be made?
  • Absolutely. In general, keep your articles watchlisted and pay close attention to other editors' amendments. Anything beyond straight content additions is a potential knowledge expansion for you. Placing project tags is useful as it attracts interested editors. Make links to Wikidata so that you see articles on other language Wikis; that can be very helpful. And BTW, not giving attribution is a much bigger issue than stuffing up a category. Schwede66 16:47, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have created more than 25 new articles and another editor suggested I apply for autopatrolled rights. I have been editing for approximately two years, mostly articles related to New Zealand and the Pacific. Pakoire (talk) 00:54, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Done Good work! I've looked over your last five articles and made some ever so slight adjustments; please review those edits to see what I've done. But none of that was fundamental enough to not assign autopatrolled. Looking at the edit histories, I was looking mostly at your work rather than cleanup by others. That's what I want to see.
