Dr. Claw is the villain in the animated television series Inspector Gadget, an unseen character who is identified by the back of a chair with the MAD (the organization that he controls) logo imprinted on it, and a low, ominous voice. Frank Welker supplied the voice of Dr. Claw.

His face was always just out of shot in the series, along with the rest of him except his arms and hands. However, his face is revealed in non-canon sources such as licensed action figures, where he is depicted as an old professor with white hair. He keeps his evil cat as a pet.

At the end of every episode of the Inspector Gadget cartoon series, He would escape from the MAD jet yelling: "I'll get you, next time, Gadget!, next time!". This was followed by MAD Cat's signature scream.

In the 1999 live-action Inspector Gadget film, Dr. Claw was fully visible, and portrayed by Rupert Everett.
