Hell is a small village in Stjørdal, Norway with a population of 352. It has become a minor tourist attraction because of its name - people like to take the train there to get photographed in front of the station sign. (Allegedly, it was possible to include the sign "Godsekspedisjon" (cargo handling office) in the picture as well.)

Incidentally, the Norwegian word for hell is "helvete", and there is a place in Gausdal named just that - a gorge with large round ice scouring holes.l
