Jump In! is a Disney Channel Original Movie that first premiered on January 12, 2007. The movie, starring Corbin Bleu from High School Musical and Keke Palmer from Akeelah and the Bee, revolves around a young boxer, Izzy Daniels (Bleu), who trains to follow in his father's footsteps by winning the Golden Glove. When his friend, Mary (Palmer), however, asks him to substitute for a team member in a Double Dutch tournament, the young man discovers a hidden passion for jumping rope.[1] The filming took place from June-July 2006 in Toronto, Canada. Jump In! is currently the highest rated Disney Channel Original Movie. [2]

- This was the 69th DCOM.
- A DVD release has been scheduled for March 27, 2007 according to That's So Suite Life of Hannah Montana DVD insert. Bonus features include Learning the move with Corbin Bleu and more.
- Corbin Bleu's real-life father, David Reivers, played the part of Kenneth Daniels, Izzy's father, in the movie.
- According to a DCOM extra on disneychannel.com, "Corbin Bleu" is actually Corbin's stage name. He has used this name so that he and his father's careers could be viewed separately. This explains why they have different last names.
- The soundtrack came out on January 9, 2007, just before the movie's release date, just like High School Musical and The Cheetah Girls 2 soundtracks.
- The first teaser for this DCOM aired with "The Cheetah Girls" tour. It showed a bunch of clips of Corbin jump roping, stating that Corbin from High School Musical will be in it, and that it is coming out in January 2007. But unlike the real trailer that revealed the title of Jump In! it said it is titled Jump Start!.
- A teaser trailer debuted during the premiere of Return to Halloweentown on October 20, 2006.
- The movie's titles have changed more than a few times since production started. It went from Jump, to Jump In, to Jump In! to Jump Start! and now back to Jump In!.
- Two of the cast members attend the same high school, although they met while making the movie. One (Micah Williams) attends Lutheran High School of Orange County online, while the other (Laivan Greene) attends class at the actual school.[3]
- Laivan Greene can also been seen starring in the CW comedy "All of Us" as Courtney, the 13 year-old daughter of Dirk Black (Tony Rock). Monday nights!
- The movie poster was first seen in the program for the High School Musical Tour.
- Family Channel (Canadian) Family.ca Scoop,has been quoted saying that "Jump In! might even be bigger than High School Musical!". This was published on their website, family.ca, in the blast-scoop area of the website.
- Jump In! will premiere on Family Channel in Canada on February 16 2007.
- Cory in the House premiered before the music video of Vanessa Hudgens's new song.
- Vanessa Hudgens' new music video Say OK premiered after the movie and an episode of Cory in the House.
- The songs Push It to the Limit (Corbin Bleu) and It's My Turn (Keke Palmer) both played during the freestyle round of the Double Dutch tournament.
- This movie was the most viewed DCOM ever breaking records with 8.2 million viewers, beating High School Musical and the cheetah girls 2

Soundtrack
A soundtrack featuring songs from the movie was released on January 9, 2007. The full soundtrack could also be heard on [1] the official Jump In! website. It was removed on January 5, 2007. It managed to debut at #5 on the Billboard 200 on January 27, 2007. [2]
