Sailor Cosmos is a fictional character who appears in the fifth arc of the Sailor Moon manga, STARS.

Sailor Cosmos comes from a future where she fled from the battle with Chaos; she returns to the past as the dark pink-haired child Chibichibi (Sailor ChibiChibi) to guide Usagi Tsukino on the path to defeat Sailor Galaxia. It is hinted that Sailor Cosmos is Sailor Moon from the future (Sailor Pallas comments, "Are you the ultimate form of Sailor Moon?") - but Sailor Cosmos neither agreed or disagreed with this accusation.

She at first encourages Sailor Moon to destroy the Galaxy Cauldron to ensure Chaos' destruction, but Sailor Moon protests, realizing that if the Cauldron is destroyed no more stars will be born and her friends, defeated by Galaxia, will not return. She chooses to sacrifice herself to the Cauldron, which Cosmos then realizes to be the right decision.

Sailor Cosmos never makes an appearance in the Sailor Moon anime, although she appears to have a counterpart named the Light of Hope, who is also a form of Chibichibi. Although the Light of Hope resembles Sailor Cosmos and many consider her to be the same, Naoko Takeuchi commented that she wished Sailor Cosmos had been in the anime, eliminating the possibility.
