Walther Wüst (7 May 1901, Kaiserslautern – 21 March 1993) was a prominent German Orientalist in the first half of the 20th century who became Rector of the University of Munich from 1941 to 1945. He was also a leading Nazi intellectual, and from 1937 the President of the Research Institute of the Ahnenerbe SS. He was a member of the Nazi Party and of the SS and attained the rank of Oberführer.
