Kalamos (Greek: Κάλαμος) is a town and a former community in the Greek prefecture of Attica. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Oropos, of which it is a municipal unit.[2]
Kalamos is located NE of Athens, E of GR-1/E75 (Athens - Lamia - Thessaloniki), northwest of Rafina and east of Oropos. Businesses and tourism are the most popular industry after agriculture and fishery in Kalamos. Beaches and hotels dominate the northeast in the area of Agioi Apostoloi.
