The Singapore Economic Review (SER) is a quarterly journal published by World Scientific. The journal was initially published as the Malayan Economic Review (MER) from 1956, which was later renamed the Singapore Economic Review (SER) in 1969[1]. It is also the official journal of the Economic Society of Singapore[2].

The journal was relaunched in 2002, and covers economics in general, with an emphasis on economic issues in Asia. Topics covered include: public policy and economics; developmental issues; the Asian Crisis and China's economic reform; various other interdisciplinary studies and topics are also explored.

The journal has also been responsible for heading several economic conferences from the year 2005 till present[3].
