Sarien is an virtual machine for playing games written using Agi. Agi which stands for Adventure Game Interpreter is the program which Sierra used for their old games. The first game to use AGI was King's Quest which was released in 1984. AGI was replaced by Sierra's Creative Interpreter aka Sci during the late 1980's.

Sarien has been ported to many systems such as Beos, Msdos, Windows, Linux, Xbox, et al.
