Parolise is a town (commune) in the province of Avellino, Campania, Italy. Parolise famous town of the upper Irpinia for being the town of the famous family of the i Lomardi. Parolise also became well known through Italy for the famous Calzaturificio Scorta that provided special designed shoes for the Nobility of Southern Italy, and for manufacturing shoes for the Italian Esercito during WORLD War2. Parolise is a town of old charm with modern taste. The friendly people and the beauty of the majestic mountains make Parolise a place that you want to visit year afte year.
