Joseph Joe Parrish-James (* 1995[1] in Bedfordshire, UK) is a british Gitarrist of the bands Albion and Jethro Tull.

Early life

He found his love for music at the age of three. He learned to play the guitar at the age of 6. In his childhood he was a fan of Deep Purple, Steeleye Span and Iron Maiden. He plays a Fender Pacifica. He studied composition and arrangement at the Royal College of Music in London.[2]

Career

Joe Parrish did join the progressive band Jethro Tull as lead guitarist in 2019.[3][4] He succeeds the German guitarist Florian Opahle.[3] With the two new albums, he has been touring internationally with Tull for years. In Germany for instance, the band gave concerts in Hamburg and Rostock, among other places.

Joe Parris is also a singer and guitarist with the band Albion too.[5]

Musical collaborations and other work

For Jethro Tull he played on the last two albums the Zealot Gene and RökFlöte.
