Magandang Umaga, Pilipinas (Good Morning, Philippines) was an early morning show produced by ABS-CBN from June 6, 2005 to June 22, 2007. It started at 5:15 am and ended at 8:30 am (UTC +8) on weekdays.
History
Magandang Umaga, Pilipinas (2005–2007)
In June 6, 2005, the first regional morning show was launched on March 7 entitled Maayong Buntag Kapamilya (ABS-CBN TV-3 Cebu) as a local counterpart along with Panay Sikat (ABS-CBN TV-10 Iloilo), launched on January 16, 2006 and Magandang Umaga South Central Mindanao (ABS-CBN TV-3 General Santos and ABS-CBN TV-5 Cotabato), launched on June 19.
Also on June 6 of that year, it carried the title Magandang Umaga, Pilipinas with new hosts. The show ended on June 22, 2007, due to poor ratings and was replaced by Umagang Kay Ganda, as a customized format for MUP.
