The 2022 South East Queensland flood is a current flood event occurring in South East Queensland. Falls over 400mm have been recorded.[4] The Mary River at Gympie is expecting its highest peak since 1999, prompting the evacuation of some residents.[5] According to Seqwater Wivenhoe Dam is at 160% capacity on the 27th of February 2022[6].
