Richter LLP is one of the largest independent financial consulting firms in Canada. The firm offers accounting and business advisory services to public and privately owned companies, as well as business families, investors and advisors. It is headquartered in Montreal, with additional offices in Toronto and Chicago.
History
1926: The firm was founded in Montreal, Canada by Cecil Usher and William Richter. Its first corporate name was Richter, Usher & Vineberg.
2001: Richter Wealth Management Inc., known today as Richter Family Office, was founded.[1]
2013: The firm left RSM International after being part of the network for 10 years.[2]
2015: Richter became the ninth-largest accounting services firm in Canada.[3]
