ማክሰኞ የሳምንቱ ሦስተኛ ቀን ሲሆን ከሰኞ በኋላ ከረቡዕ በፊት ይገኛል። በስሙ ማክ- የሚለው ክፍለ-ቃል 'ማግስት' ማለት ነው።
