Pocoyo is a pre-school animated cartoon series about a young boy who dresses in blue and who is full of curiosity. It is made by Zinkia Entertainment, and distributed by Granada International. There are 52 episodes, and each is 7 minutes long. The British actor and comedian Stephen Fry narrates each episode. The program is shown on CiTV.
Characters
Pocoyo: Pocoyo is the main character of the series and the programs centre around his adventures. He is a young boy who is full of curiosity and who loves to play games. In spanish, Pocoyo means "little me"
Pato: Pato is a yellow duck who wears a small green hat. He is also a good friend of Pocoyo. Pato means duck in Spanish
Elly: A pink elephant who wears a blue back-pack; she is Pocoyo's best friend. She usually rides around on her scooter.
Loula: Pocoyo's pet puppy & companion. She adores Pocoyo.
Sleepy Bird: A green bird who sleeps a lot. She only wakes up to turn off her alarm clock.
Other characters
Whale: A huge, mute whale, who Pocoyo meets under the sea
Octopus: A red octopus who jibbers a lot. He appears in the episode "Pat the Ball".
Baby Bird: A small, screaming baby to sleepy bird ,who gets into some sticky situations. Pocoyo lends a hand.
Music Flower & The band: "I believe that Pocoyo has the only musical flower in the world"
Both play music, which Pocoyo likes.
Butterfly: A very hungry butterfly which Pocoyo occasionally catches.
