"I Hate Everything About You"
Song

"I Hate (Everything About You)", or commonly seen on MuchMusic & Mtv, "(I Hate) Everything About You", is the debut single of the Canadian rock/metal band Three Days Grace, from their debut album Three Days Grace. The meaning behind this song is fairly simple, describing a love-hate relationship from one person's point of view. The repeated paradox "I hate everything about you, why do I love you?" is the central theme of the song, and suggests that despite another's flaws the singer still cares about them and can't understand why. The music video represents many different ideas on how they hate the person, and ask themselves why they love them still.

In the music video, there is a teenage boy that finds out that his girlfriend is selling herself out, a young teenage boy that has a drunk abusive father, and a girl that is having regrets or may have an STD or be pregnant.
