Gardendale is an unincorporated area and census-designated place (CDP) in Ector County, Texas, United States. The population was 2,020 at the 2020 census, up from 1,574 at the 2010 census.[3] It is part of the Odessa, Texas, Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Geography

Gardendale is located in northeastern Ector County at 32°1′21″N 102°22′42″W / 32.02250°N 102.37833°W / 32.02250; -102.37833 (32.022499, -102.378336).[4] Texas State Highway 158 forms the northern edge of the community. Downtown Odessa is 14 miles (23 km) to the south.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the Gardendale CDP has a total area of 11.49 square miles (29.75 km2), of which 0.02 square miles (0.05 km2), or 0.16%, is water.[3]
