	I saw a great documentary film on Bachata and several of the great Bachata composers and interpreters that were interviewed talked about the fact that Bachata music was heavily influenced by the great Mexican boleros. If you listen to a lot of well-known bachata songs, many of them are remakes of Mexican boleros. I wish I could remember the name of the documentary film (it was on PBS).
